I'm Nico Cardone, but everyone knows me on social media as Nik. I'm a wedding videographer born in Monopoli, a charming town in the beautiful region of Puglia, Italy. Currently, I'm based in Parma, Emilia - Romagna. Since I was a child, I have been drawn to films, music videos, and advertisements from major brands. With my family's camcorder, I enjoyed filming family gatherings and capturing adventures with friends, whether it was diving competitions in front of my house or street football matches by the streets. I noticed that while experiencing those moments was exciting, filming and watching them through the camcorder made them magical and eternal. I experience that feeling every time I film a wedding, in every detail, or when creating an advertisement for a brand. Everything can be magical if told from the right perspective. Cinema, music, and poetry became the pillars of my adolescence. After obtaining my diploma, I decided to gain experience abroad in search of an environment that represented me. At the age of 19, I left for London and took on various types of jobs (waiter, bartender, painter, sales representative for alcoholic beverages), while keeping my passion for videography alive, knowing that I would eventually make it a reality. After England, I moved to Scotland, then to Australia and New Zealand. This journey lasted for 6 years, during which I learned english and encountered different cultures, religions, and lifestyles. For me, traveling is not just a physical movement or crossing borders; it is a merging with the emotions of the people you meet and the dimensions that belong to you, even before you realize it. Sometimes, the world can be truly small. In 2014, I returned to Italy, where I took my first steps in the wedding industry, simultaneously collaborating on commercial advertisements, music videos, and concerts. I am grateful to life for providing me with many exciting experiences that form the foundation and inspiration for all of my work.
